Mr. Gallagher is a licensed Professional Engineer and LEED Accredited Professional holding BS and MS degrees from Rutgers University in Bio-Resource and Civil/Environmental Engineering.  He is currently Executive Vice President for Natural Systems Utilities (NSU) and past Vice Chair for the Board of Directors of the U.S. Green Building Council, NJ Chapter.   

In 2007, Mr. Gallagher partnered in Alliance Environmental, an environmental engineering and sustainability consulting firm where he served as COO before its merger with NSU.  Prior to this time he worked for Applied Water Management Group where he specialized in wastewater management planning and direct water reuse systems.  Mr. Gallagher has over 15 years of experience with Onsite Nonpotable Water Systems (ONWS), was recently published by Forbes and serves as a Guest Lecturer on the subject at Rutgers, Columbia, Cornell and other major universities in the Northeast.  He was the Principal Investigator for a two year NYSERDA grant focused on the energy consumption and overall optimization for ONWS and directed the MacDonald Island ONWS project in Alberta, Canada including system training for the local operations staff.
